"We had a wonderful time in Oltrona San Mamette, and the location itself was stunning, a splendid villa with an authentic Italian classic design, a beautiful forest all around the property, a terrific place to have your wedding. We had our families hosted here for the whole weekend and they really loved it, and of course our wedding ceremony fitted perfectly with the house veranda.
Francesca was really helpful from the very beginning and she also assisted us to find a perfect restaurant for our wedding reception. Everything was beautiful inside and outside, clean and shiny and we were really impressed on how the interior is decorated with authentic art pieces.
Hopefully we'll manage to come back again and we strongly recommend this place to people who really pay attention to fine details and of course to everyone who is keen to find a match for a classic Italian property."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'Ronco', a tranquilly quiet spot set on a hill in private gardens with views through the trees to the snow capped mountains. Although we did not use the swimming pool which is situated a short distance from the house behind very secure gates and fence we could see the possibilities of reclining on one of the many sun loungers in peace and quiet. The house made one feel very 'at home' and Juan was always discreetly there to give a first class service.
We found two very good restaurants in nearby villages and we are sure that there were more in the area, and there is a golf course within a short drive. Nearby Como is a historic town on the banks of the lake which was beautiful in the sunshine set against the backdrop of the mountains.
A great house to visit and relax away from the maelstrom of life."

"Perfect away-from-it-all holiday venue, a lovely home, a gated swimming pool of luxury hotel standard and a tennis court, and a choice of two stunning restaurants, Allacorte and Tarantola, in the next village, Appiano Gentile. Reasonable prices too.
We really enjoyed the Villa Carlotta on lake Como and the ferry from there to Bellagio. We also took the telepherique from lakeside Como up to Brunate but apart from the views, I’m not sure how much there is to do once you’re up at the top. Apparently some good walks, for younger visitors!
Milan is great but we were warned not to try to drive- there is a good train service (35 minutes or so) from Lomazzo. If you go, the Duomo is a must- particularly on the roof where you are on a level with the gargoyles. Have fun!"
